So, I have made it through the first 8 days of school (today is day 9) and I must say that it is going well. This year, in addition to teaching the writing to the upper grades, I am also teaching all the science for the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. It is very overwhelming right now as I learn to budget the time I have with the required curriculum. It is exhausting, but a lot of fun. The kiddos are loving it.
Despite all the amazingness that is going on in my room, I AM thankful for the small break we have on Monday for Labor Day. I need a chance to catch up on my grading, planning, and sleeping. ha ha.
