Holy Cow...Is it SPRING BREAK YET?!?!?!?!?

Ok, so it REALLY needs to be Spring Break. Not because of the kids. We are actually doing pretty good in the classroom department. I just have SO much that I need to get done and out of the way. Even now I should be writing a paper for my Math Endorsement class (only 3 more sessions and I have my endorsement) and I know what I am going to type, I just want to relax and focus on NON-SCHOOL for a few minutes. So here I am.

The weather here as been so hectic that I am going crazy. Hot during the day and then freezing COLD WINDS all night. Feels like the house is going to blow over! :)

Well, I know that I need to relax, but my wife has a scrapbooking party tonight and I will have the boys (little sis is going with her mom). I think we will go and get ice cream or a treat from the store.

Thanksgiving Greetings!

Give Thanks! That's the theme that is hanging around in the air these days. Okay, maybe that has to do with the fact that it is November, and Thanksgiving is Thursday. But see, my family already had Thanksgiving dinner. Sunday we all got together and ate dinner. All my sisters and my brother was there. In fact, the only people missing were my oldest sister husband and her step-son. It was a great meal (kudos to my little sister for putting it all together).

I am glad that it is a short week at school. Not because I want a break from my students, but because I have so many things that I have got to get done. I am sure the kids will enjoy the break as well, but I love what I do. I have such a great class this year, and we are growing and learning and have a blast! Go Bears!!!!

Well, I better head to bed. I have faculty meeting at 7:15am! Yuck! I am SO not a morning person. Thanks for reading (Welcome Amanda- it was great to find your family again!)
