Evening Falls (and the heat stays around)

Ya know,
When the sunsets, you would hope that the heat in the house would drop from the high 80's to a comfortable range. But, of course, not so much. My wife and I were at Home Depot and found this really neat vinyl window covering that looks like etched glass. We put in on the smaller windows above our large livingroom windows. It is supposed help reduce that amount of heat that comes into the house. I think that it worked! The only downside is how expensive the stuff is. It was only 36" x 73" and it was $50!!! That's almost Highway robbery!
