Back On The Scene

Howdy!

It feels good to be back and live on the scene. The last few days have, again, been very full and busy. In fact right now I should be writing on some assignments that I have due December 1st. But I wanted to take a minute and let everyone that reads my little corner of cyberspace that I am alive and well. Part of my problem with keeping you current is partly due to my laptop in it's final stage of life (as in it is just about totally dead). Ah, such is life, and someday I will be able to get a new one.

I had a college class today. I only have this class and one more, before I have my Math Endorsement. YEA! I have worked long and hard for it and I am excited to be so close to having it done. It has been wonderful to have a district that is supportive in helping teachers get it. I also have a meeting on Tuesday about my Master's Program. I am nervous about that one, but I know that I will make it through. I also hope the 4th grade teacher decides to do the program as well. It would be nice to have someone to study with, collaborate with, and drive back and forth with.

Well, tomorrow my family is celebrating Thanksgiving. So everyone will be here. That will be nice.

Oh, and I went with my wife last night to Grand Junction. We went to dinner at Famous Dave's. That is some tasty food. My sister-in-law paid for everyone's meal. I was very appreciative of that, even though it wasn't expected or required. We headed to the theatre and watched, yes it's true, Twlight. I will be the first to admit I was pleasantly surprised. I think that it was well done considering they only had 2 hours for a 500 page book. We went to ColdStone afterwards (My sister and her husband were there as well, in fact we rode over with them), and then we went to Wal-Mart (I know, I know. I hate that store. But we do shop there for now.)

We got home around 1am, and we brought our kids home (my mom and dad had the three oldest) and crashed. I really didn't want to get up at 6:15am to get ready for my class and leave. It is 1.5 hours to the building where the class is held.

Well, we are heading up to my parents for a while.

Later...
