Veteran's Day Celebration

I don't know what ever made me do it, but I was asked to sing for the Veteran's Day luncheon this year. However, now that it is done, I am so thankful I was asked. What a great privilege to be in a room full of men and women that have served our great country. My wife recorded me singing, and since it sounds pretty decent, I have consented to putting it here on my blog. NO LAUGHING! :)

I am so thankful for the many men and women who freely give of their time and some their lives to protect the precious freedoms we enjoy here in the great nation. It is nice to be ONE NATION UNDER GOD (a loving god at that), to have the right to worship how we may. To live in a country where my children can become anything they can imagine and dream to be. I am so blessed to be living in the USA! GOD BLESS HER!

I hope that all you readers will take the time to find a friend, family member, neighbor, or even a stranger that has served our great nation, shake their hand, and tell them THANK YOU for their sacrifice.

Later...
