Grateful For November

Dear Friends,

I can't tell you how much I appreciate the month of November. A whole month set aside for counting our many blessings. I love pondering about all the good things that life has to offer. This season is one of shedding all the frustration, anger, and "I wants" from ourselves and moving forward with a renewed attitude of gratitude.

Now, I realize that this is much more difficult than one realizes to look back over the past, pick out the blessings and discard the rest. I think the reason for this is that without all the parts we want to discard, we can't see the moments that we are most thankful for.

I hope that this month leads you to a bountiful harvest of blessings, love, and happiness. With so many of our dear friends experiencing so much loss at the hands of a terrible storm, I am excited to be a part of something much bigger than myself. As teacher-authors, many of us are banding together to create resource CD's with donations of resources from our stores to help those teachers in need.
