Teacher-Author Spotlight- Raki's Rad Resources

I think there is something special about teachers getting to know other teachers. Not only do we have an inherent connection because of our dedication to teaching children, but we have a desire to better ourselves and learn from our colleagues.

I would like to introduce you to Heidi Raki, or Raki's Rad Resources. Heidi hails from Morocco and had this to say about herself:

"This year, I will be teaching a mixed grade class of 2nd and 3rd graders at the International School of Morocco.  This will be my 9th year of teaching, with 3 of those years spent teaching overseas in Morocco.  I have taught everything from 1st through 4th and even spent 2 years teaching K-5 computers.  In addition to being a teacher, I am also a mother of 3 young boys and a blogger at www.rakisradresources.com and www.globalteacherconnect.com."

I spent some time this past week exploring Heidi's sites. I must say that I am impressed. She has such a variety of resources and has had many, many teachers leave her feedback. In fact, she has had 1422 votes as when this was typed and has maintained a 3.9/4.0 rating! WOW!
