Greetings!

Hello,
It has been almost a week since I last blogged. Holy Cow! Time is flying. I have enjoyed being back in school this past week. Over the Christmas Break I was able to re-evaluate my schedule and make some changes to the way things are being taught. This past week was a trial run and I love it.
We also have an interesting problem at our home. We have an odd dripping sound in our wall by our computer. What makes it weird is that there isn't any water or plumbing lines that would be close to the sound. We thought that maybe we had a leak in the roof, so I climbed on the roof and swept all the snow off this side of the roof. The sound stopped for a couple days, but now it is back. What is even more interesting is that it is very inconsistent. Sometimes it is a rapid sound and sometime there are minutes between them. Anyways, the anxiety side of me is pretty stressed out about it. I may have to cut a hole in the wall to see what the heck is going on, but I would feel dumb if there wasn't anything there. So, I guess I will wait a few more days to see if the sound goes away as the weather stays warmer and the snow outside completely melts. If not, I will have to bring in some friends that are much more handyman-ish than I am.
Tomorrow I have a college class and I am NOT excited about that at all. I really don't want to drive the 1.5 hours to get there, but oh well. Only 3 more classes and it will all be over.
I need to get working on report cards. Parent-Teacher-Student Conferences are next week.
Later...

  1. That would totally stress me out too. I say tear into the wall...but Colter would be calm and wait. I am glad you only have 3 more classes. That will be nice when it is all over. I have parent-conferences next week too. I guess I should get to work on that (but this is more fun). :)

  3. The mice sound differently than a drippy noise. I had them in my walls for about a month and was told that the place didn't have mice and I brought them "with your crap when you moved in here" by my landlord. The thing that drove me nuts was that they sounded like they were partying in the walls all night long and my husband worked out of town at the time, so he was only home on the weekends.

The exterminator that came to deal with my mouse problem told me what I had was field rats and that there was no way I had brought them in; there was some construction in the field behind where we lived that was driving them from out of their home there into mine - we didn't have a washer and dryer at the time and they were coming in through the pipe for the washer that went outside - that's what I was told. He put out his stuff and the mice or rats disappeared.

Hope you find whatever the leaking or drippy noise is and that it is something that can be fixed rather easily and quickly - lol - Drips near computers aren't good at all. See you in the postings - E :)
