Today was a C-R-A-Z-Y day! I survived the 5th/6th grade field trip. We went to the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake. That was an adventure. Being at the zoo was a blast. The trip up and back... not so much. I still have pounding in my ears for the loudness. But, I love those kids to pieces. Craziness and all.
Being at the zoo really was a treat. To have several students in my group who had never been to the zoo made it a real treat to watch. Nothing beats watching the kids light up as they experience something for the first time.
I don't have much time. It's getting late and I still school and college work to do. Just wanted to share a brief snippet from the day. Thanks for reading- oh, and see the side bar- PORK IS STILL SAFE TO EAT!
LOL
In the middle of testing, you guys managed a field trip. How awesome to be able to take a trip to the zoo. My son's "honor band" is going to Carowinds on the 22nd - they will do a performance and then spend the day at the park. Problem is I have to have him at the other middle school at 6:15 in the morning - which means the boys have to be up and ready to go by 6 am. Fun, fun. But it will be fun for him and his friends.
ReplyDeleteIt's coming down to the wire - school is almost out. I'm glad you guys could have an enjoyable day and take a break. Maybe this will help the next couple of weeks go by without too many problems. See you in the postings - E :)
