Today was fantastic simply because it is the first day of May! I had a wonderful day. At school we cleaned up the 6th grade flower garden in front of the building, had reading buddies with the first grade (that was fun), and then had an extra long computer slot because we are the last class of the day. Did I mention that our school has 1/2 day Fridays every week! After school I taught a couple voice lessons and then returned to the school so I could finish up the book order and do a little planning for next week.
When I returned home I was able to mow the lawn, water the yard, and enjoy watching the kids play. Oh, and we planted a tree start from our front yard into our desolate backyard. Hope it will grow and give a little shade. That would be nice for the kids.
Now we are getting ready for dinner, haircuts, and a visit to gradma's house. We haven't been there for a while and it will be nice to drop by. Tomorrow I have an endorsement class, next Saturday too! :( Then I start my masters degree the following week. It sure will be an adventure. Glad you are all here to share it with me.

Sounds like a fantastic day. I rebelled against working yesterday so today I need to put my BIC and do some serious work (and try to make copies of the activity booklet in between things) - anyway - I need to email you because I have something for the kids and need yours and their inputs - looking forward to chatting soon - E :)
