Well,
We went to Colorado and bought enough paving stones to put in a 35.5 ft by 9 ft patio in our backyard. That wasn't exactly cheap, that's for sure! So tomorrow is "Patio Day!".
Starting shortly after lunch we are going to start putting it in. I will try to post the before and after pictures here so you can see the amazing transformation! I am tired and it is hot! Oh, SUPER good news, our central air conditioner started working again without any problems, at least for now, so we are back to very good cooling if we could only afford to run it long enough to actually cool the house!
Well, off to other things like finishing water the garden and taking a nice cool shower!
Until tomorrow...

Now the Day is Over...
Greetings. We now have a window air-conditioner in and it is running at full capacity, and we are still in the 90's inside at it is after 10pm.
We found that to have the AC repaired would be a minimum of $195, which isn't all that much I guess. We still don't know about the van- they didn't get a chance to look at it today. So that could make a huge difference on the AC repair.
My dad came and helped me put in the AC window unit. We had to build a platform to set it on, and then used plexiglass to avoid the "redneck" look of plywood in the window. LOL.
Guess we will see what happens tomorrow! Oh, I finally mailed off the Mailbox Assignment! YEA! My next one is due in July, which seems like a long time, but truly isn't!
Well, lots to do tomorrow. Weeds to chop, grass to water- all the stuff I actually enjoy! Plus it will only be Thursday.
Check ya later...

Made it Home
Hey-
Presentation #4 was a great success! I really feel good about it- Harrisville had a great group of teachers! We headed home shortly after (4:30pm) and discovered that our car is starting to have a problem. It will periodically, when just starting out and when put in park, act like I am pushing on the accelerator and the engine will rev up. So that is neat! (NOT!) Then we got home to find that our house was a mild 95degrees! WOW- let me tell you- that is T-O-A-S-T-Y! So I kicked on the central air only to discover that it is not in working order either! Not only that, but our water pump went our right before we left! I guess out "3" has come- and hopefully that will be it for a while!
We are taking the car in in the morning to be checked- hopefully it is nothing major!
I will keep you "posted", ha, ha!
